Real Estate

Cooksey, Toolen, Gage, Duffy & Woog provides a broad scope of legal services related to corporate, real estate and financial transactions for clients ranging from multi-national corporations to individuals and privately held businesses. These services include organizational, operational and contractual documents for corporations, partnerships and limited liability companies; commercial transactions; real estate acquisitions, leasing and development; and commercial financing. Unlike other firms, the integration of the Transaction Team and the Litigation Team within a single Business Team allows our attorneys to provide our clients with a full range of business experience and advice, addressing, in a single team, transactional and litigation issues.

As counsel for lenders, our attorneys negotiate and document real estate secured loans for the financing of the acquisition and development of all types of commercial property, and in particular, automobile dealership facilities. Our expertise in commercial finance includes buyouts, asset-based loans and commercial real estate financing for industries ranging from manufacturing and distributing to retailing.

On behalf of owners and developers, we negotiate and document purchases and sales, exchanges, leases and other contracts, provide advice and assistance concerning land use and entitlement issues, and prepare documents concerning the use, operation and maintenance of facilities, for projects ranging from mobile home parks and health care facilities to strip centers and high-rise commercial buildings. For our corporate and business clients, we handle matters ranging from financing and corporate structuring to expansions, buyouts and mergers.
