Sheryl Ith manages the firm’s Consumer and Small Business Bankruptcy team. The firm represents automotive finance companies, truck finance companies, mortgage lenders, and secured and unsecured creditors in consumer and small business bankruptcy cases brought under Chapters 7, 11, 12, and 13 in California and the western states.
Her team provides bankruptcy and creditor rights services in all aspects of the bankruptcy process including motions for relief from stay, plan review and objection, proofs of claim and objections, defense of lien-stripping motions, defense of motions to redeem, reaffirmation agreements, and adversary proceedings.
Ms. Ith received her bachelor’s degree from Chapman University and obtained her Juris Doctorate from Western State University School of Law graduating third in her class.
Prior to joining the firm in 2008, Ms. Ith had extensive experience representing debtors in consumer and small business bankruptcy cases and was an attorney for a chapter 7 panel trustee.
